Welcome to Baba’s Feed Project, where our mission is to bring nourishment, education, and hope to families and children in need across Haryana State. Inspired by the profound teachings of Baba Neem Karoli and Baba Ram Dass, our project is rooted in the principles of love, compassion, and selfless service.
Our Mission
Baba’s Feed Project was born out of a simple yet powerful desire: to make a difference in the lives of families and children who lack access to basic necessities. Each month, we distribute food kits, education kits, and clothing to 160 children, ensuring they have the essentials needed for a healthier, more secure future.
A True Charity
We take immense pride in being a true charity. No one in our organization receives a salary; every penny goes directly towards supporting the families and children we serve. Our only costs are minimal, such as PayPal fees. All items for sale on our website are generously donated, ensuring that all proceeds go directly to our mission. This commitment to transparency and selflessness is a cornerstone of our work, and we are proud of our ability to maximize every contribution.
The Inspiration
Our journey is deeply influenced by the teachings of Baba Neem Karoli, a revered saint known for his boundless compassion and the principle of seva (selfless service). Baba often emphasized that true service is done without expectation of reward, purely for the joy of helping others. This philosophy is the cornerstone of our efforts, guiding us to serve with love and humility.
Similarly, Baba Ram Dass, a devoted follower of Baba Neem Karoli, taught us the importance of unconditional love and the profound impact it can have on the world. His famous words, “Love everyone, serve everyone,” resonate deeply with our mission. These teachings remind us that our work goes beyond mere charity—it is an expression of love and a commitment to the well-being of our community.
Our Work in Action
Every month, Pintu, our dedicated founder and volunteer, travels up to a 2-hour radius within Haryana State to deliver 200 food kits, 130 education kits, and 160 sets of clothing. Each kit is carefully prepared with essential items to meet the needs of the families and children we serve. Our education kits, for example, include notebooks, pencils, erasers, and other school supplies, ensuring that children have the tools they need to succeed academically.
Pintu’s unwavering commitment has been the backbone of our project. He and his family have selflessly devoted their time and energy, without any breaks, even through the challenges posed by COVID-19. Pintu risked his health several times a month to ensure that the families and children continued to receive their much-needed supplies. His dedication and sacrifice are a true testament to the spirit of our mission.
A Community Effort
Baba’s Feed Project is not just a team of volunteers; it is a community united by a shared purpose. Our supporters, donors, and volunteers all play a crucial role in making our mission a reality. Together, we embody the teachings of Baba Neem Karoli and Baba Ram Dass, creating a ripple effect of kindness and compassion that extends far beyond the immediate impact of our work.
